1. Should not be a checkmark. It should be a follow symbol.

2. Should be a simple checkmark. Either checked , or x'd. It only means verified-probably-human.

3. Skip this.

Thx, for helping to clarify, but verification does not mean here what it was originally meant on Twitter. ( Ie real world identity). ONLY the verified email can do that now for npubs.

Not even verified email mean the same thing. That's why we want to move away from it :)

I'm not sure what you mean?

A verified email address of: Keith@seedsigner.com means it's IS the real Keith. Michael@saylor.org IS Saylor.

But MarcG@getably.com - well, that's just a nym. But obviously so. It's still me tho.

Maybe the term 'verified' is the problem here? Because I only have a nym: I'm not verified, I'm not identified, I'm just 98%&proved human. Based on who follows me is the only way now to tell that I am probably 'that guy/ that Marc. '

Verified is now maybe an idea of old, whose time has come to pass.

Idk, but I think so.

In nostr, it just means that the PubKey controls that user@domain. It doesn't mean that anyone verified if the person is real. The verification itself is up to the user.

Seconding this

Dump follow button for this icon next to people. When you have followed- is becomes a color. Save alot of screen space for other stuff and self explanatory.

2 and 3 should be small colored dots
