Some Bitcoiners plan to accept CBDC handouts to “subvert” the system by converting those slave tokens into Bitcoin.
As for me, I plan to flat-out refuse to use/accept CBDCs ever.

I have friends and family who could receive handouts from the government as a result of their status. They won’t and I have the utmost respect them. There is no such thing as free money.

Agree. Some have said they will use the CBDCs to buy acceptable items such as vegetables. I find this reprehensible, as it’s a tacit acceptance of the system that, if successful, would enslave humanity for generations.
I’d imagine they’d first roll them out to government W2 employees. They’ll have no choice but to except it as their direct deposits rails.
They then might coerce large private sector firms with tax incentives for opting into the system.

The simple fact is that regardless if you take it, they will continue to push it out. I would take what they give and add that as fuel to the fire for hard assets that can contribute to barter or accumulation of more crypto. The system is burning itself down so why not briefly warm yourself by the fire if not doing so has no benefit to you? You can't say the percentage of people who will stick to a hard no with the times to come is enough to get them to about-face on CBDCs.
