This is my favorite taqueria because the food is delicious but also because it's such a small building that I can eavesdrop on everyone!
There's a table of New York contractors cussing up a storm and telling the most salacious stories!!! I miss the east coast SO MUCH right now! The cadence, the creativity of these profanities! This is the music of my people!
I ordered seconds just so I could stay eavesdropping on these dudes (also because I am a pig). But they just finished telling a story of a crazy guy who ran onto the work site, commandeered a contractors truck, used it to ram into the excavator equipment, then chased the foreman around with a hammer until the cops shot them dead. I'm not even hiding it anymore I'm just like 👀👄👀
I think they dig it. They're talking even louder now 🤣 I feel like I should tip them for providing such wonderful entertainment!
