#AskNostr What is the shelf life of dehydrated green beans that are properly prepared and stored?

I am seeing people say "at least a year" and "up to 25 years". Those are both pretty unspecific amounts of time...

Does anyone with first hand experience have an answer? Have your dried green beans ever gone bad?

Storing dry beans in mylar bags, with oxygen absorbers supposedly keep for 25 years. Opening 1 bag of your original store per year, after an initial storage of 5 or so years, can give you an idea if your storage is properly done.
