For now....

Private hands are suseptible to inflation.

That's why bitcoin isn't money anywhere anymore.

They are going to get you to sell.

Government long game is 1000yrs longer than we can fathom.

govts are broken orgs. they don't have a chance in hell to last 1,000 years. most govts in existence right now wont last another 100 years before being replaced. the source of power, fiat money will be gone before then.

Nah. New people just get voted in.

People won't stop voting.

And if they did, they would just put someone in the spot.

it's about the money. what's the point of voting people in if there's no advantage. once fiat fails, there's no benefit to being close to a money printer. it's why historically kings don't reign very long. it was too hard to hold a kingdom together.

Political voting has a proven history to not work.

Why are people still voting then? There's already no advantage, unless your the one getting voted in!

consensus is still useful on the local level. it's an illusion on the national level. it will be irrelevant, once fiat fails. i see you avoiding that point. do you believe fiat is going to last forever?

Nope. It won't last forever.

Government has front ran the people on bitcoin.

Well end up working for these large corporations as we do today, but for 100 sats opposed to $1000 by 2140

"the people".... 🥱

that's the people's fault. they had plenty of time to buy while it was cheap but thought it was stupid. they were too lazy to do the research.

Inflation, doesn't allow people to afford to save in bitcoin.

that's not true. bitcoin can be purchased in small amounts, making it affordable, and its annual growth beats inflation.

While bitcoin can be purchased in small amounts, that doesn't negate the effects of inflation causing them to sell what little they do manage to stack.

Speaking from first hand experience.

i don't know what to tell you. if bitcoin can't get you out, nothing short of revolution will.

It'll be this way for 98% of the world.

And most participating in the revolution will be poor people.

And who's died the most in any revolution in history?

The poor folks actually doing the fighting.

sounds like you think people are doomed. I will say that eternally speaking, it's true. we have no real solutions to our problems.

I can't say that for sure, but based on reality and events happening thus far, it does appear to be that way at least. But the future is never set in stone.

Maybe we'll get another asteroid hitting earth and get a reapawn. 🤣

in my experience, it never goes the way we expect.

Nobody is expecting to be enslaved again under a new technological system.

😎

and not everyone will be. even if their choices and movement is limited, if you can't control their minds, they aren't really yours.

Yeah. There will be another 1% when this all happens for sure, just like today's world.
