Haha... that reminded me of that guy that stole bitcoin and then they stole it from him then idiot went to report that someone stole it from him... then got arrested for theft himself. Muahahahaha but I still cant remember the office thing. Lol
It’s called forfeiture. That’s why governments like to say we all live on ‘stolen land’, so they it can be forfeited.
If you take something that was stolen, then give it back to the original owner, then no.
If you take something that was stolen and keep it for yourself, then yes.
