Bitcoin will defund the state, reducing it, if it still exists, to only proper functions- enforcing the natural law as a service. As Bastiat said:
"In fact, if law were confined to causing all persons, all
liberties, and all properties to be respected—if it were
merely the organization of individual right and individual
defense—if it were the obstacle, the check, the chastisement opposed to all oppression, to all plunder—is it likely
that we should dispute much, as citizens, on the subject of
the greater or lesser universality of suffrage?"
***Or:
If the state was only serving it's proper role, an enforcer of natural law- (do not steal, do not murder) then it wouldn't matter who we vote for.
A very interesting way to put it. Eye opening.
