I always say my favorite conspiracy is that man landed on the moon and there were aliens ships on the other side of the crater.
The other favorite conspiracy is that we never went there. I think both are true somehow.
It does seem so impossible when I think about it.
Unless it's like Bitcoin. One is skeptical until boarding a rocket to orbit. Once in orbit, one becomes more comfortable with jetting farther into space in the direction of the moon.
A modern cruise ship is an absolutely miraculous thing, slowly docking with pilot vessels to make narrow passages into ports. It's a 2D problem to maneuver on the ocean surface.
Perhaps mechanical spaceships are possible. Astronauts look at vacuum tube screens to perform calculations and pull levers and push buttons to slowly maneuver large cylinders together in space.
A 3D ocean docking. Buoyancy is actual orbital speed. Incredibly complex. It would involve all the human brain and experience of backing trailers, loading pallets--Cirque du Soleil level equipment operations.
