I think it would create too dynamic of a situation mentally for Buddhists who take action on his every word.

He'd be too preoccupied with the idea that creating a cycle of greed would occur & that he'd be asked questions only about this topic.

I think if they got exiled from tibet now, we'd have a better chance at him adopting it out of dire need that is painstakingly obvious - rather than trying to educate how it can help you avoid long term pain.
