In Damus you are unable to zap notes per apple rules, until you run a janky script.

I love Damus and want to make it my primary app, but can’t find a simple lightning wallet that I can use for iOS and browser. Not urgent but would *love* to solve this and be on Damus only.
Same. Domus is my go to, but in order to zap someone I have to go to my Primal account and then zap them from that.
This is so fraked up! This shit has got to get sorted out. It feels as though rather than build for compatibility, the devs just spin up a new NIP or protocol with a new name and that only works for their wallet.

Your correct! This MUST get better to attract the masses otherwise it’s just a turn off… also I absolutely hate how you have to pay to have a lightning channel. This will not work if we want traction among every day folk. 🫡
and this is why we need a simple, easy to follow, guide on getting started with Nostr and things like NIP-05 verification. I looked when I started and it was not at all intuitive.
BitBees - yes, if you set up a new wallet, you simply add the new lightning address in the field on your profile and save it. That will then replicate across all the clients that pull your Nostr profile. One update, shown everywhere.
The challenge is what wallet to use and picking one that you v=can use on a mobile device, in a browser, and whichever client you prefer (Primal, Damus, Iris, Rabbit, etc., etc.) Some work with certain wallets but not all. There's NWC (Nostr wallet connect) but not all support it. The only way I know of to do this and have thorough control (without a paid subscription service that costs more than your zaps each month) is to install a Lightning node on your own server and manage it. But that is a LOT of work for most people and a total barrier to adoption for many!
TL;DR - my first wallet was via the nostr:npub12vkcxr0luzwp8e673v29eqjhrr7p9vqq8asav85swaepclllj09sylpugg iOS app. Super easy, up and running and zapping folks in minutes, but I've heard recently no one can get it to activate - so there's that.
I played with Chasu.me wallet which works great, but you actually end up having multiple cashu.me wallets across platforms/clients and multople backups of seed phrases, it was a whole thing. I'm still searching for a simple solution that is cross-client compatible other than setting up my own server/node.

I absolutely love my #Primal native wallet. Instant ledger, one-tap zaps, easy UX, goodlooking. But something happened where I cannot receive zaps into it, only zap out, or send Sats 丰 from another wallet to it. All zaps I receive go into this nightmare Blue Wallet that was attached to Alby, which I thought I deleted Alby yesterday, after sending all Sats 丰 to one of my other hot wallets. Only to find I was still receiving zaps/emails re the blanking Alby thing (which is way above my pay grade). Now it is deleted and I can’t zap out of the Blue Wallet, or send the few remaining Sats to any other wallet. Feel for the noob who gets stuck and doesn’t have all the support that I am getting from y’all.
Honestly, using strike for lightning is the simplest way. Great UI
I see you got help with your lightning address, but this screenshot was showing your NIP-05 address.
In your settings you will find fields for both. The “bitcoin lightning tips” one is for your zaps. The “nostr address” is your nip-05 address, used to provide some proof of your identity. You can do this with any website domain, but since setting this up on your own website requires some skills, services like Alby and Primal let you use their domain to verify who you are. This is actually making me realize that we need an easy way for non technical people to setup nip-05 in their own website/domain.
And btw, the point of all this is to make it easier to distinguish your profile from a fake one, without needing to compare npubs, and to prove that you are associated with a certain website.

I noticed now my screenshot was actually showing your lightning address, not your nip05, sorry if it caused confusion!
I tried to verify your NIP 05 and it appears that the pleb.lol domain isn’t online anymore. So I think you need to find a new one.
This is not related to your username. With your current nip 05, BitBees@Pleb.lol, Nostr clients will try to call the pleb.lol website and ask for the pub key of BitBees. Currently they won’t find it 😕
