I lived in Korea for a year and a half as child. The family moved there shortly after I turned six years old in April/May of 2001.
Some of my earliest memories are from when I lived there.
It was a beautiful land. I hope the people there can keep it that way.
Here are some objects I value that I still have from living there.
Next to my desk with many other collectables of my life is piece of the original wire fence from the DMZ and a medallion that is common in the country that was originally a part of a necklace.
This used to be a working lamp. I keep it next to my bed. Maybe one day I'll restore it to working order.

Wow! Relatively close to the DMZ!
We lived in at the Air Force Base in Osan.
Yep it was pretty close, took a tour of it once. I loved going to Seoul when I could get a weekend pass. Am familiar with Osan for sure.
