To all new nostriches, be very careful with your nostr private key. One time, I accidentally pasted my private key into a comment. Thankfully, I caught it before posting. πŸ”‘ πŸ‡ πŸ₯•

Great advice

I recently posted the same Magnum PI meme twice in a rowπŸ‘¨πŸ»πŸ‘¨πŸ»

Added a detect nsec in post alert feature request to #damus a couple months back: https://github.com/damus-io/damus/issues/472

Wow this is great!! 🀩

Keep sharing the lessons learned for the future #plebs

Same to you 🀝

#[2] it looks like our man #[3] already implemented on damus and I did not know πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ!

You can verify by using #[4] nostrtool.com to generate a random nsec, and try posting on #damus.

When I did this I saw the following warning:

Beautiful!! πŸ‘ πŸ‘ this is great news πŸ—žοΈ

Deuce, you think it should be stamped into metal?

Memorized would be best πŸ˜‚β€¦a bit harder than 24 words 😝

I can’t remember what I had for dinner last night, let alone a string of numbers and letters!

πŸ«‚πŸ˜‚

Okay my mind is blown 🀯

πŸ«‚ thanks for sharing

Yeah, no worries. I would avoid using this with internet tho

100% newbies can/should make multiple keys (just like multiple addresses in a wallet) for testing / practice, etc - BUT always keep MAIN KEY safe ! that's you main egg in basket of eggs

πŸ‘‡ I'll 2nd and 3rd this warning! πŸ’œ

You can't be too careful with your

private key!!!πŸ™β€ΌοΈπŸ‘‡
