Three from the watch box. Excuse the incorrect times. Haven’t worn for a while. #watchstr.

The new 5 gmt is sick! How’s it holding up?

That’s the Hamilton Heritage American classic right? Very cool!

Everyone needs a g shock. Great choice!

Nice trifecta!

The 5 GMT had been pretty solid and accurate too. Was expecting it to be a little wayward but has been far better than its rated timekeeping. Got a soft spot for 70s watches, too, hence the Hamilton modern day nod to its old Pulsar. And yep! Gotta own a G-Shock - too much 80s history there to ignore 😂

I love the breadth. Three very different watches/styles.

👍🏼 Have some others too. Think I’m driven to cover a variety of styles that combine history and aesthetics with something interesting about their engineering/movement and/or purpose. A fleiger and a chronograph are probably next… You have any others?

I do have a few others. I’ll take some pics when I get a chance. I’m into field and dive watches. I almost pulled the trigger on a fleiger as well. I find most chronos to be too big and there’s a little too much happening on the dial for me. I prefer a cleaner look.

Cool. Look forward to seeing them. Agree with you on chronographs, which is why I’ve never bought one. Just feel that one should feature in the collection 😅. Some of the fleigers are HUGE too, but yes, I love a clean look. I don’t want a day/date on the next watch. Clean dial, clean numbers, nice movement.

Lorier Neptune, without the date complication, looks interesting to me. I haven’t ventured much into microbrands though.

And I know what you mean when you say “I feel I should have one in the collection”. Lol.

🤣 Gets expensive too! I bought a 10 watch box and have vowed never to go beyond this number. I like the look of that Lorier Neptune btw. 👍🏼 Design cues from all the big names right there.
