What does stacking sats mean exactly? Saving zaps? Or buying Btc and keeping it in lightning wallet?

So you buy from exchange and transfer to a lightning wallet? That is a lot of fees to buy and transfer. Any benefits?

My stacked sats go to a cold wallet. Stacking sats to me is any activity that brings in sats: buying, gaming, zapped, etc. I zap what I can for Nostr content I enjoy; the rest of my sats are retirement money.

Sats are still based on the price of Bitcoin....making them just a volatile..

What do you think of staking? I am having a great time with staking Cosmos and earning 17-21% interest each year. They pay you the interest weekly and reinvests it. This seems like the smartest way to do crypto

It’s not volatile if you HODL for 4+ years. I don’t do crypto; I only bitcoin.
