I keep having this difficult conversation at home.

My wife trusts my judgement but prefers to hold 'tangible' assets like real estate.

I keep reminding her that our claim to that real estate depends entirely on a 'register' kept by the people most likely to seize it... or worse to g rind us out of it and then claim forfeiture.

To assert our right without force, we depend entirely on rule of law persisting and that law being fairly written and fairly judged by independent judiciary and fairly enforced by a police force or military that acts without fear or favour.

That's a lot of ifs right there.
