Nah. Json is meant for machine reading. Manual editing is more yaml.
And having a manual curation step in the middle of an automated workflow is a potential bottleneck.
The last company I helped build documentation for had you update things in the homegrown content management system and then manually update the json files to have the pages render in the right places.
I got paid, but it was tricky to always remember that step.
Oh, geez. Yeah, manual between-steps are asking for errors.
