How come I can't land punches in my dream fights?

I had those dreams, but at a certain point in my life it changed, and I started knocking the stuffing out of dream folks.
I was like Mike Tyson, moving at full speed, even a little faster perhaps, juke, jive, 1, 2, 3, and then BAM PLOW with the upper cut. Unstoppable.
I have this same kind of problem in my dreams, but with running: my legs refuse to move and i can barely stand up on my feets...
However i can often fly, just by moving my arms like a bird

For me it is talking these days (nights). In my dreams I need to say sth important but cant talk in a way that I can be understood.
In the past I had this not being able to run away issue as well. Stupid brain.

haha. I literally kicked a ding in the plaster of the wall the other day. Too much milk in the evening and alcohol in parallel. Not dreaming so much now, resting better.
If it makes you feel any better I got robbed by a child in a dream of mine a few days ago.

Same. I always feel like I'm punching through syrup or something. I usually switch to jusy grabbing the thing I want to punch and slamming them into something or throwing them. Weird. 🤷
