I start on web by getalby to setup a safe account nostr + lightning.

then zeus on mobile because you easy transfert the account ( android / ios)

then copy prvkey to damus , plbstr , ametyst on mobile.

reconnect zeus on mobile

then i'm good and safe !

For the desktop/laptop newcomers... first things first, **HAVE** to get them to install nos2x or alby for extension login capability.

Explaining that having your extension setup is effectively a universal passport to nostr is so crucial I feel it's lost on many still.

If they have WoS then I usually nudge them towards nos2x but the zapping experience with alby is second to none and exporting to blue/zeus is really handy for a unified wallet experience.

Once they realize also that their LNURL, NIP5 and E-Mail can technically be the same identifier, that's a very strong and cool way of onboarding!

For the mobile I've been asking newcomers to install Iris (open source) as it's iOS + Android, Then WoS... in the end though a unified setup like alby with NWC etc is something I should be pushing harder.
