Yeah, I was following that incident closely. I use a Trezor Safe 3 myself, but I bought my wife and two daughters a Tangem, so I was a bit on edge. Ultimately, I decided to stick with Tangem for them.
I created their seed on an old Trezor, then imported it to Tangem using an offline phone, so I believe we should be safe.
I’ve watched a few of your videos—I try to find people who aren’t selling crypto. Most of the time, it feels like everyone talking about crypto is promoting coins, so it’s tough to find people who seem genuine.

Yeah I don’t try shill any coins… maybe Bitcoin, but that’s not crypto imo. It’s the future of finance.
But anyways, important note. Your Tangem IS NOT SAFE if you generated a seed phrase and imported it to the Tangem before app version 5.19.1
If you look at the comments section on the stream I did about it I am giving updates to people about it so not only seed generation in the Tangem was affected but anyone importing the seed. This was saved in the app logs.
Watch my video for my recommendations, long story short, send crypto over to another wallet, reset wallet, update app, generate NEW seed phrase, then send funds back. Personally I recommend seedless as you saw on my best cold wallet 2025 video.
But yeah don’t rush when doing it and don’t stress or you’ll make a mistake.
