Made some lemon hummus this evening. 😁

I removed the skin from the chickpeas before adding to the recipe. This resulted in a silky texture and improves the digestability.

The chickpeas have an energetic that is cold, dry and rough. Good for pitta and kapha constitutions, but a challenge for Vata. The classic recipe calls for the addition of tahini (warm, oily and grounding), lemon juice (warm, moist and grounding) and garlic (warming)

Yumm.

I don't have any cucumbers in the house... But I'm gonna roast some carrot chips tomorrow and this will be a nice dipping snack πŸ˜‹ I'll pull out some olives too πŸ€Έβ€β™€οΈ
