If you are a libertarian, why do you care about which and how genders are available for people to self identify as?

I am a male identifying as a male so this is not directly impacting me, but all the recent gender talk on here made me think.

If my neighbour was self identifying as something else than male or female I couldn’t care less. They have the liberty and individual freedom to do whatever they want.

Why would libertarians care? Am I missing something?

Just because the highest rule/norm is to _leave others alone_, I don't have to engage in anywhich insane delusion presented. I can tell people off or refuse to engage in rituals I don't approve of.

1) reality: people concerned with 2+ genders make statements about the world that are incorrect.

2) these people emphatically _aren't_ "self-identifying" -- they are shoving such "identifications" onto others, insisting that those others treat them differently.

So yeah, we can all be free to discriminate everywhich way: them giving me crap for refusing to use someone's _preferred_ gender; me asking them to take their degenerate delusions elsewhere.
