Reminds me of a great Zen story:

Temple falls on hard times. The Abbot tells all the monks to go out and steal in order to keep the monastery afloat. He is very sorry about this, but it has to be done; therefore, in order not to hurt people’s faith, the monks must ensure, absolutely, that they are not seen in the act of stealing. The monks get up and go off into the night to steal. One boy remains. The Abbot asks, “why aren’t you going to steal with the others? Don’t you care about the temple?” The boy replies, “I do. But you said ‘no one must see me’ but Abbot, ‘I’ will see me stealing.” The Abbot bows in gratitude and congratulations to the young boy monk, calls the other monks back, and reprimands them with a talk on the precepts.

WE always see what we write. Would I say it ‘that way’ to someone’s face? We must care for each other. We are all family.
