Welp, let’s try this again. What I said was:
Ya great point! And on the surface I would agree. However, anecdotally I’ve found it actually works differently.
Imagine you meet a woman who’s a 10/10. As soon as she opens her mouth though, she says some wacko stuff and you find that she’s just a terrible person. She automatically is much less attractive.
There’s 2 paths men take, and I think one is wrong on a fundamental level.
1. You’re looking for an outlet to fulfill your erotic desires, so you look for a woman who’s very attractive, and her personality be damned. You’re just looking to hookup, so who cares if she’s a narcissistic psycho? You just wanna get your rocks off.
2. You’re seeking a woman who will be a life long companion to you, and who can help raise your children. So as you get to know pretty women, you’re far more concerned about the fullness of her character (or lack thereof). You find that beauty isn’t just physical appearance but it’s her whole being. I.e. body, mind, soul.
So what I guess I’m saying yet not saying is ‘beauty is in the eye of the beholder’ to use the old cliche. How does one view women? Are they a means to end? Are we just squirrels chasing a nut? Or are we men who see women as companions?
My 2 sats, fellas ✌️
