Looking at buying a new laptop.

Company offers a CPU upgrade to a newer generation for $200.

Look up the CPU benchmark comparisons.

The new generation is 4% slower with the same power draw.

curious to what you end up getting, i've been contemplating a portable workhorse since i'm away from my battlestation most of the time
