Marriage is a particularly bad deal for men. But yeah, for Christians, it’s mandatory if you want that kind of lifestyle. Since the Bible recommends men stay single, and because the whole “marriage and family” lifestyle always struck be as particularly unappealing anyway, I did exactly that.

I don’t think so. I’m not religious and I think people treat each other better when they know they could lose the relationship at anytime.
