Happy Monday, it looks wonderful βοΈif it is not a secret, how much does it cost where you live?
Happy Mπnday! I would say around 150 Euros. And all organic...
Thanks!
The underlying problem I see that eating healthy - not for everyone, especially when 80% (the number from my head) and more products in shops are not good for eating. But people don't mind that. And that is sad.
Seeing posts like yours bring me joy though π
Thank you lovely soul ππ½π
I know, it's so tempting...Psychologically speaking, most shops are set up in such a way that you get hungry when you go in.
For example, fruits and vegetables come mostly first. The colours stimulate saliva. In the USA, it is even allowed to spray synthetic smells at the entrance to make people hungry. Crazy, right?
Even the healthy products are usually placed at the very top or bottom of the shelves and are not as well lit as the unhealthy industrially processed products.
Since I've been a raw vegan, none of this is so relevant to me anymore, since I only buy fresh ones anyway, plus nuts, seeds and kernels. I'm no longer interested in anything else...Ok, olives and pickled cucumbers I buy too π
Shopping carts and baskets are also getting bigger every year so that you feel like you haven't bought much when it looks half empty. These are all tactics to encourage consumers to buy more! Even things they don't need...
Also everything that has to be advertised is simply unhealthy. It is that simple πͺπ½ We got to be more conscious with ourselves...
True and I prefer farmer markets, especially the ones I know they grow themselves, but that requires better planning, since I need to buy things in advance. Nevertheless, thanks for a conversation. And looking forward to your streams.
P.S. I will send you sometime a picture from a shop where I live, not even close to fruits and vegetables π
