Most fantasize on the what ifs and what they'd do as early adopters, but we're here now, not waiting for approval to use Nostr, it's not being promoted on mainstream platforms by influencers fleeing as they grieve of censorship and bans.

We didn't wait for it to be cool, pristine or glaringly obvious. We simply opted to use this protocol similar to how we put our money were our mouth is and stack sats like psychopaths.

Write notes, stack sats and hold the line, you're not alone my fellow pleb, not even the slightest.

The people who continue to stick around on nostr would’ve stuck around with bitcoin if they learned about it in the early days. The people ignoring nostr today would’ve also ignored bitcoin if they heard about it in 2010.

They are. For me the nostr vibe is like the bitcoin vibe back in 2012. One day people will say things like "you got lucky for getting zapped on nostr early". Nothing to do with luck...

I didn’t learn about bitcoin until mid 2022. I always wondered if I would’ve held through the volatility in the early days if I did know about it. Hard to know for sure because my time preference is definitely lower as I’m more mature.

Only a few held their corn. Most people, including myself, made a massive mistake - taking "gains" after the first halving... never again!

Never

again.

And I’m not gonna pretend I wouldn’t have taken profits back then.

we just acted on it, no ruminating or distractions, simply acted on the opportunity.

Hats off to the real ones 🫡

🎯💯

I heard about it in 2013 ..never paid attention because they were paddling it as a currency ... I attribute my losses to early influencers 😭 ..

If only they said it was a digital implementation of #gold !

You can’t have control of your life until you take responsibility for your decision to not study Bitcoin in 2013

nailed it.

Anybody accumulating bitcoin now is an early adopter. This is a new form of money for humanity and it's gonna be around for a thousand years.

Agreed.

Early is always relative.
