I’m at the age where life choices are becoming really evident in the way someone looks. It’s really strange to see someone you used to have a crush on and be shocked by how freaking old they look. Live healthy Nostriches! 💜

Right? It’s pretty wild how just unhappy the few classmates I’ve run into are.

I wasn’t really thinking about happiness per se. One guy really shocked me because he looks like he’s been sat outside drinking nothing but whiskey and smoking cigarettes since I last saw him. I think he had more wrinkles than both my parents. It was just shocking. He was still so babyfaced last time I saw him.

I try not to judge someone’s happiness level based on a short interaction when I haven’t seen them in a long time. Could be a bad day, or a rough patch not necessarily a bad life.

I was more thinking how the 30’s are an interesting time with people the same age looking wildly different just because of lifestyle choices.

Hell if I’m well rested, hydrated, and moisturized people guess I’m 25. One rough night and I show my age a bit more honestly.

I was just saying my own experiences. I’ve run into a few old classmates where after about 10 mins with them I felt like I needed a shower to get the unhappy off. Lots of my old classmates were the troublemakers and shitbirds and they never grew out of that. Hell, I ran several of them’s ID numbers as a dispatcher when I was in my 20’s lol

Could be in the genes as well 😉

Hard living can override even good genes.

I don’t know, remember when I posted about Mick Jagger and co 😉

Some have a bit more luck then others or take better care, but in the end we are all in the same boat. No way to win with time.

Realizing it makes me look kinder at others and smile inside when somone tells me that I'm old. Everyone will be, if they are lucky!

Using the time well is important, but hard to remember, also for me.
