I found it interesting that it embeds successfully on Nostr but when I try to access it directly, it asks me to request access.
I coded an exception for when the image isn't accessible so it doesn't break the bot.

I had pretty good results with uploading them to void.cat (not videos). Have you tried it?

I used to have issues directly from damus with those. Haven’t tested recently
