Serious question.. am I wrong in my understanding of how these masks should be worn.. Shouldnt the blue side be facing outward? I thought that material was a quasi moisture barrier (splash guard) I kept seeing countless photos like the ones depicted here where say 20-25% were flipped the other way around

The colored side should always face out. Yes, itโs the fluid repellent layer. A lot of the masks were arriving screwed up (folded opposite directions, ear loops welded in strange places) soft side towards the mouth is what I do.
