How do you start your morning?

In my experience what I do the first hour of my morning sets the tone for the day. Most mornings I meditate, journal, eat, and move my body in some way. Staying internal as long as possible before allowing the outside world in. Today that hasn’t been the case, I woke up and immediately allowed the to dos, outside noise, emails, and social feeds to flood my mind. Resulting in me feeling frazzled, frustrated and disappointed.

I share this to express my imperfect humanness and to acknowledge areas I can improve. And hopefully to inspire myself and others to make the choices that support our highest selves.
