i have now reached the stage of 3d printing where i am wondering why the mm doesnt match exactly what orca says it's supposed to be πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ (apparently) #gridfinity

at least, im assuming this is a thing i never really had to wonder before πŸ€” why do all the electronics cases i print seem perfect but the dimensions for other stuff is off? πŸ€”πŸ€”πŸ€”

You mean the size of the physical object is off?

yeah, in orca it said a certain # of mm, but when i checked with the caliper it was a few off.. but. that also doesnt really make sense if the cases i make for Pis and stuff are perfect so.. unsure what it means πŸ€”

Have you checked if it is the same difference on each axis?

i think, its possible i didnt zero out my caliper measuring thing.. further experiments continue 😎
