it was so so so so good. Did you read the whole series?

It was wild to me how different each book was both in narrative style but also in what was covered in the fictional universe. I really didn't see the (ultimate) ending coming when I was halfway through the first book, but goddamn was it satisfying (and deeply emotionally wrenching!)

I didn't like some super freaky parts like why do --- endlessly suffer on the --- thorny - avoiding spoilers hereπŸ˜… But the wraps were always huge. I also hated Endymion on the first take, the romantic end felt so overdone to me. But overall it's one of the best sci-fi's I've ever read. The gods thing, gates, the creatures of freedom resonated with me, it was mindblowing even over the annoying parts. What's his name, C...? Well he wrote horrors, did scifi once and it shows. #hyperion #endymion It's like some Dunes before Herbert got sleazy and senile.

Yea I was really against Endymion at first for the same reason and then DAMM it hit me in the feels, as they say.

And yes, there were some deeply freaky parts. Lol the breadth of this series is insane. It hits everything.

I think the biblical cross vibe and sacrifice and love and save was too much. My husband shed a tear, I'm a cold bitch. πŸ‘€πŸ˜… Most people complain that the series is slow, the story of those seven travellers, but for me it was, especially Hyperion, slow absolute boil. That electric forest? God damn. Gates, DAMN. And .. and .. and.. DAAAMN.

You know what, actually

Haha!

I just finished it this year but I might reread it also
