This may happen soon. I truly do not want to, but I need fully functional nostr clients for android and web. Not 50-65% working ones.

Who here has a list of all the current nostr apps that are out there? I am going to start shopping around.

Which ones have you tried and would recommend test driving?

Primal, amethyst, coracle ( highly customizeable)

Coracle is broken even though it is my favorite by far. Hoping for a patch update soon to fix it.

Primal works, but the ambiguous error messages are infuriating when it does not work. Also it is very weird but I get a very negative feeling whenever I use it. So I stopped.

Amethyst works, but I do not trust the shady main developer, and thus the software itself.

Amethyst is where it's at.

Been driving it since day one.

Here is my view on Amethyst.

Excellent app. It works.

After having multiple in depth conversations with the main developer over privacy and security concerns. I discovered that he is one shady pompous egotistical son of a bitch. I would never trust my privacy and security with him, or that app in a million years.

So this is one of those yup. I know it works well. If I knew kotlin, I would fork it, remove all the extra woke shit, including the privacy and security invading features, and just maintain it myself. However, that is way more effort than I want to deal with. So I just refuse to use it outright.

Kind of sucks balls, but that's just the way it is. Sincerely though. Thank you for the suggestion. Under normal circumstances it would have been a great one too. Have a wonderful GN.
