Imagination is what keeps us sane. It's why we read books and stories, and love art! It's why we fall in love
The ability to “imagine” what others are thinking expedited the evolution of our brains .
Or at least made our brains more homogeneous and made Humans a race 🤔
It can, as a tool necessary to run simulations to understand an individuals survivability in certain situations. If you can imagine what will happen if tickle a tigers balls, you are more likely to survive.
Rule of thumb: Evolution can explain anything if it’s suitable for survivability.
Not that it’s the only explanation ofcourse….
