I've had a small Lightning channel of 1M sats closing for MONTHS. I can't bump it. There's only 10K sats on my side, so I don't really care. I decided to go back through old Plebnet chats and found the node owner. He didn't know he had 990,000 sats sitting there in limbo ๐Ÿ˜ฎ His node is dead because of hardware issues. I showed him the nostr:nprofile1qqsrk63a8wentzpk5ex3eqpf9wtww6vwcddzuh9y2800567n4ulwhpqpzdmhxue69uhhqatjwpkx2urpvuhx2ue0532llr Accelerator. He's going to get his sats back! ๐Ÿซ‚๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿค™๐Ÿป

Every absentee Lightning node runner needs a Derek. ๐Ÿ‘Š๐Ÿซ‚โšก๏ธ

Hah. Yeah, I've been watching this channel hoping it closes, but the fee is 1 sat/vbyte.

Lowest we hit was 2 or 3 right?

I've seen 2.

there like 100000 transaction at 1.7 sats/vbyte ๐Ÿ˜…

Damn. That's a pretty large wall ๐Ÿ˜‚

Youโ€™re such a good person. Thanks for all you do.

I still don't understand all this lightning channel stuff. ๐Ÿ˜…

But that's pretty rad that he'll be able to recover his sats

It's only a pain in the ass when things go sideways ๐Ÿ˜‚ But yes, I'm glad I found him.

Reminds me of one of the bigger channels I had the guy running it refunded my fees for opening a channel with him and also taught me how to manage fees properly.

Awesome.

very nice of you ๐Ÿ™‚

so he had to close the channel to get it? or just renewed it?

Thank me I closed all channels couple of months ago before my node crashes!!!

I have this problem. What should I do?

Litecoin, BCH & Monero don't have this problem. Just saying.
