Can you explain this more clearly? What change was made recently?
"removed one more filter" tells us nothing. Which filter? When was it broadly released to Core users? What's the mechanism connecting that filter to the size of the UTXO set?

I know about that change. I also know that it's for version 30
Version 30 hasn't been released yet. I guess some people might be running it early, but I don't think we can blame it for any changes we've seen recently
I am complaining more about virtue signalling being done onchain right now...!!!
If we have significant jump in UTXO without removing the sub 1sat/vb filter, just imagine what happens when they will remove the actual filter which has been working for years and years.

Even though I know some details on this, I'm also confused by some of what you say
Significant jump in UTXO set....it kept dropping until someone started virtue signalling about bloating the UTXO set with sub 1 sat/vb fees. We saw PR merge about removing filter for 1 sat/vb at the same time.
Do you think it's just a coincidence?
What *exactly* do you mean by "virtue signalling"? A particular tweet? A particular merge on GitHub? A particular transaction on chain?
