Throwing darts at the craziest theories we could come up with for the spam bots and this one kinda hit as an out of box theory:
What if we found out that a very valuable asset had shown up on nostr? Maybe not in the way we think about value… maybe it comes in the form of a refuge from Instagram or something like that, someone who drove an insane amount of the attention economy to sales for a v, v powerful group of people
And what if those people wanted to prove a point to that asset about their control? Would they spam an entire protocol just to make sure she never leaves them?
perhaps. but it would probably be worse than what we've experienced so far :3
