I also thought like that but realized that we are part of such a small group (it's so very, very early)... 99% of ppl in the world are still clueless normies & it will take time to bring them into the fold.
We few need to support & guide each other... so we need to connect online and IRL.
I consider OPA a worthwhile once-off "sat-spense" since it aims to connect Bitcoiners so we can do just that...
Example:
On OPA, I am currently speaking to ppl in Europe who know more than me & at the same time guiding ppl in Tanzania who want to learn from me.
It's also pretty awesome to already have contacts in places all over the world... for when I go there to attend conferences!
