Oh shit fresh meat jay. Back in the day if someone called you (this was before caller id) you could hang up and (for a fee) dial *69 and get the number of whoever called you.
That's pretty neat.
Growing up I was a huge fan of Kevin Mitnick who was the pioneer of phone phreaking. I thought it was super cool. He did all sorts of wild shit with those old phone systems.
Yes it was. So many stories for offline.
