The notion that energy/oil is going to get more expensive in years to come makes A LOT of sense to us — chronic underinvestment, mounting global frictions, less cooperative exporters, etc.

Who disagrees? And if u do, why?👇

Debt has artificially amplified demand for 50+ years. As the debt bubble implodes and hurdle rates are higher, it’s reasonable to expect demand to fall precipitously from current levels.

I doubt we see anything dramatic happen. Keep in mind that oil volumes are being artificially suppressed by OPEC. If the price goes up enough they will get greedy and pump more.

The only possibility that would make me disagree would be nations releasing their national reserves domestically but even then that's a limited fix so...like usual prices will hike up everyone will bitch & moan then the price will lower.

It'll still be higher than it was but the illusion of affordable fuel will fool people.

Ironic considering the push to move away from LP/NG stoves & gas/diesel vehicles

Oil is a limited resource that everyone in the world is dependent on during the most đź’µprinting ever.

Once we are done depleting our reserves, as we continue to print, expect the prices of oil and gas to be more expensive than ever.

Bikes will be a thing..

I disagree simply because I believe EV will take more and more market share from ICE over the medium to long term. Gen-Z is fully on board with the climate agenda and will be using less oil in the future. It’s not gonna matter how much oil is going to cost because there will be less demand.

This same premise could probably be said about energy to power homes and businesses. Solar and nuclear power will dominate especially when paired to Bitcoin miners. I think energy price will come down in the future with the right administration and regulatory framework

This is an interesting point of view. I hope you are correct regarding Nuclear power 👍🏻

EVs in most climates and most actually built generation mixes use more fossil fuel than ICE.

Better make sure to get the 55 gallon ky before it goes up in price!

And if energy/oil gets more expensive then everything gets more expensive
