are not the pillars of a prosperous society things like rule of just law, lack of hunger, education, safety/peacefulness...? stuff like this.

some socialism is really super good, beneficial, and uplifting for societies. i have no doubt here. nuts that many people don’t see this.

it’s deranged to keep pounding the table with the word “freedom” and trying to make people believe that any & all collective projects are bad.

Socialism creates a world of despair. The pillars of civilization have never been created by a bureaucratic state. The United states today is just the last example of failed socialism. After starting centralizing education, medicare,.medicaid, social security and all that socialist shit, the quality of life went to the bottom.

It's not that socialism fails. It works perfectly for what is designed to do: create a land of irresponsible and weak people in need for help from birth to death enslaved under the oligarchy of politicians and bureaucrats who keep all the rights and resources for them. The beginning stage where they give free services to the population creating debts that cannot be repaid is not socialism, it's the weakening of people and the economic system on purpose.

.

~some~ socialism is necessary and good for a prosperous nation and thriving society filled with productive individuals.

No

No it's not. The only real cure for a thriving society is families and friends. No government should be involved into redistributing wealth or help. I always refused government help and I will never claim my retirement because it's all bullshit to make people dependent.

If in a society filled with productive individuals you introduce 'some socialism' it flips the incentives and the productivity begins its race to the bottom. Farmat's principle, the path of least time or least resistance, somehow applies to the individuals.

For a nation of productive individuals, capitalism is fine.

Nah, I think you have it mistaken for capitalism.

What socialist measures specifically? And who decides that? Socialist measures place decision-making in the hands of a central authority, and the problem with this is that not everyone will agree. While some people benefit, others are harmed. True equality comes from allowing everyone the equal opportunity to help themselves, free from the interference of a central authority. A system based on voluntary decision-making ensures fairness. Equality of opportunity, rather than enforced equality of outcomes, respects personal agency and prevents inequality.

People that cry freedom loudest are always criminals. Honest people are already free and will remain so.

Just out of curiosity: in your mind, was this also the case during the covid lockdowns?

People who cry for anything but freedom are nothing but mass murderers, or fools that support mass murderers.

Any and all collectivist projects that don't require violent repression or coercion of others are ok. You're free to start any such project, as long as one of the project requirements isn't violent expropriation of resources from others... I hope you don't feel that this is a deranged starting point?

Your pillars are lacking in every socialist country because socialism fails every single time.

Socialism is the cancer of society.

It fails to bring what it promises every time and typically results in Democide given a long enough time period.

Many books have been written on this subject. If you're ready to understand, no one handled the subject better than Ludwig von Mises "Socialism."
