PSA: If you don't like the multi-column layout of NostrGram but love the features, click the Twitter icon under the note editor at the top and you'll get a single column layout that may be more your speed.

The only problem I face with the multi-column view is that the new posts are difficult to recognize. I think new posts here should look significantly different from the read posts but that's just my opinion.
Either way, I'm still in love with your work 😍
That's an interesting idea. Maybe I could have new posts "light up" for a second and fade so you know they're new.
Ok refresh the page and try it now. When in multi-column mode the background of the notes starts gray-ish and fade over about 15 seconds to the normal semi-transparent. Let me know what you think!
MUCH better!
Do you think it would be wise to keep them with the grey bg until clicked on?
That doesn't match the aesthetic I'm going for really.
Experiencing intermittent lag.
What's lagging specifically?
Delay in clicking response, delay in curse turning to hand when over hyperlinks.
The lag catches up quickly but is still annoying.
This was in the notifications section while looking at multi-column view.
How old is the device you're on? Are you running other things in the background? I ask because I'm not experiencing that at all on my laptop. I was told by one other person that if they were streaming video while working in NG it caused lags.
A pretty high-end gaming laptop but you're right, it is 2.5 years old and the processor is heavily worn out from playing games.
Not running anything significant in background.
Ok, what browser are you using? Chromium browsers have the fastest javascript engine, with Chrome being the best followed by Edge, then Opera/Brave. Chrome is significantly better than the others.
