It sounds like you are trynig to impose a social-layer limitation on the use of blockspace that exists independent of the consensus rules. IMO, that is fiat-style thinking that the banks use to block legitimate guns, drugs, etc.

I would say he's imposing a social layer. We're just having an argument as to weather or not value is subjective.
Value is subjective. That doesn't mean ordinals have any value. To me they certainly don't.
