I think the local farming/homesteading community is the most oblivious to the effects of bad money. Which is weird, because they often see so clearly the negative symptoms of a fiat economy, i.e. poor food quality, land degradation, etc..

They also don’t seem to realize the negative effects of government subsidies, either.

I guess we’re all too busy worrying about late frosts & other difficulties associated with living off the land. Need more bitcoiners presenting themselves to these people somehow - they’re ripe for learning solutions.

Good to hear I haven’t been on there in awhile. I’m mostly referring Instagram these days. All noise on there when it comes to deep problems like these. Just a bunch of people screaming at the sky basically proposing no real solutions

I agree with this. Self sovereign individuals need to be able to grow their own food. Now that we have sound money, HODLers are going to have more and more free time… which matches up perfectly with homesteading! Perhaps a PDC course that accepts bitcoin, or a permaculture volunteer/retreat program where they get to learn about homesteading and can make a contribution/donation in Bitcoin. If you want to chat about it some time, I would be interested in kicking around ideas. I am currently negotiating for land to start my own small homestead after volunteering on projects all over the world.

Would certainly like to meet some bitcoin homesteaders who could connect with… I don’t have any Bitcoin friends besides the recent couple friends I have managed to orange pill. My main goal beyond developing my homestead to provide for me needs is to help others do the same. I am working on offering more and more educationion. Seats for The applied permaculture class I offered last fall could only be purchased with Bitcoin.
