When was the last time you personally verified the Bitcoin supply?

I'm betting never.

But its true you have to also trust the range proofs that verify Monero supply (if you can't verify the code yourself of course)

However its NOT true that monero makes a supply verification tradeoff for the sake of user privacy.

Dude, it's easy to check the supply.

lmfao

And uh, not never.

So, Monero had a public blockchain that's easy to verify?

monero has a public blockchain

I wouldn't characterize verification as "easy"

Anyways, it's obvious more trust is necessary to use Monero in order to gain privacy, which hey, good for y'all. It will limit the adoption Monero will get, and with the randomx algorithm also the hashrate will be limited. As Thomas Sowell said, everything is trade offs, but be free, I say. Suffice to say interacting with you is tiring because you like to make assumptions and try to goad and go ad homemim, which makes for a painful conversation. So I'm out. Blessings!

I'm glad I could put to rest your concerns about first principles.
