I did read it, all I'm saying is apple has been known to track you all over the place and spy on you as well.
Really no escaping it. How is "Japanese Android" different?

Graphene is the way out
#justsaying
Even in Graphene, if you install one app that has a tracker in it Google can track you, most people have several, also every phone reports your location to cell towers as well and chat logs.
See, the point is that Google is a data company making their revenue on data. Apple is not (yet). Motivations are different, so among two evils I trust the fruit company more.
I would also say I trust apple a bit more with privacy, just can't do the proprietary shit. Like to be able to use custom launchers and app stores.
That’s fine by me, less risk surface for the normal non-tech crowd. I wouldn’t trust my family to know bad actor from a good one, hence a wall garden works for me to protect them
That's fair, I like a lot about Apple products and hate a lot too, but this perspective definitely makes sense.
Telco preinstalled garbage. Apple preinstalled shit is fine by me, I chose it. Android comes with 3rd party poorly written shit by underpaid devs in Japan
