Nobody cares how well its citizens live and whether they are happy and feel free.

The higher the company's year-on-year profit, the more attractive it is to investors.

Nobody cares if the goods it produces, or the services it offers, bring real value and contribute to improving the quality of people's lives.

This has to change.
