Puedo entender mucho de español pero no hablo muy bien.

My father was from Spain so I already knew a lot of words to start with but never learned to speak it much as a child since English was always spoken at home.

It takes a while but with consistency I’ve been finding that I am making progress. I would still have difficulty having any sort of meaningful conversation in Spanish but I can read a fair bit of it now.
