El Salvador is a failed project. For charity, to be admired because he was the first to adopt ₿ as a currency and then he served as an example and many states were able to observe all the implications that there were. But El Salvador sold himself to the IMF for a wagon of billions of course. The project ₿ failed there. The conclusions are that every project ₿ imposed from above cannot work. It doesn't have to be an imposition. Bitcoin must be born from below and not by state taxation. This was the great lesson we had from Elsalvador. States are corruptible.

50k human beings jammed into the worst prisons in the Hemisphere with little or no trials.

Bhutan has done more for the network than anyone in corporate, el Salvador, microstrategy, soiler - they mine AND pay in Bitcoin. That's the importance part, earning Bitcoin.

Bhutan needs way more credit from the Bitcoin community than they currently get.

The miracle of El Salvador 🇸🇻 is not the bitcoin adoption, it is the fact that El Salvador was the most dangerous country in the western hemisphere last decade and today it is the safest.

This could not have been achieved by democracy.

Bhutan had little problems. Not a miracle.

Bukele will need to step down next election or he risks being a Putin.

El Salvador used to have constitutional limits of a single 5 year term for president with a 10 year break before they could run for office a second time. Bukele challenged that law and had it overturned during his first term. He is now serving a second consecutive term in office even though that was illegal when he was first elected.

This is a bigger concern and everyone is missing it…. Reagan 1964 a time for choosing speach: what you are missing is scale and magnitude of oppression.

But things happening in Europe will be significant and people will talk about how it could have been stopped.

I think Europe is a big scary concern as it becomes Authoritarian and communists/globalist.

Fixation on freedom in one or 2 countries, especially countries that are already demonstrably not free at all, is a great way to make sure there is no where to run for the people in other countries where freedom fails.
